In the 1920’s following the path of his father, Georges Bechara
Karam firmly expanded the wood business in Lebanon by massively importing many kinds of
lumber. The company was actively present and operating in Egypt, Syria and
Palestine.
In the 1970’s, his sons established Les Fils de Georges B.
Karam which is the third generation company supplying various kinds
of superior wood products to continuously satisfy the local and regional
demands. Through the years, the company has significantly followed the
expansionist policy established by their father who has resulted on
accumulating a distinguished list of clients responsible for the execution
of outstanding projects nationally as well as regionally. This has permitted
the family business to keep for nearly a century its leading position - by
providing true satisfaction to its strong established network of
distribution, its professionalism, total quality control and market
knowledge - as one of Lebanon’s foremost timber trading companies.
We, at Les Fils de Georges B. Karam, are always
here to fully address the requirements of our clients.
